Varna Naik began math tutoring more than a decade ago, and realized how rampant “math anxiety” was in our society - she saw a need to create a space for students to ease themselves into Math - and from there, InfinityEd was born.

“Little ol’ me, at a wee age of 18, didn’t understand that these [Math Anxiety]  struggles existed; it burst my bubble and forced me into the real world,” said Naik.  “Further, it showed me why folks have so many life problems: poverty, debt, and other financial struggles. My experiences in community college solidified into a conclusion: mathematics, as a core foundational skill that teaches critical thinking and creative problems solving, is neither taught nor learned properly. As such, some people struggle their whole lives with no way of breaking free from their circumstances.”

InfinityEd was created to meet the need for convenient and consistent academic support for individual students. They have expanded their services across multiple states and found a home in Western Massachusetts, where we collaborate closely with schools and parents. With experienced founders and tutors, they excel in catering to diverse learning needs and consistently exceed expectations. Much like what she tries to awaken in her students, Varna has a passion not only for math, but also for improving the world around her.

“My biggest inspiration is seeing that people struggle and I’m inspired to help them, I ended up in a position to witness true real life struggles of folks through math education and it truly feels like the only thing I can go forward with,” she said.  “I dream of building an entity that will communicate the importance of math education, educate students, reach out to every nook and cranny of our universe, creep into all aspects of life and permeate through time and space because mathematics is the key to making what we think is impossible possible.”

Think your students (or you) need some math help?  InfinityEd’s process begins by understanding the student's unique needs and goals through an initial phone conversation with the student or guardian. After an exploratory session and perhaps a diagnostic test, Varna and her team can create tailored tutoring sessions that adapt to the student's learning style, using personalized resources and lesson plans.

This woman and minority owned company has lofty goals - not just for their students, but also goals to eventually provide free tutoring lessons for students in need.  Additionally, InfinityEd has the ability to also help students with reading and writing - and no matter the subject, the tutoring is individualized and designed for competency, confidence, and future success.

Owner Varna Naik is excited - her business can make people feel more confident, learn important, real-world skills, and become the best versions of themselves - and Varna can keep enjoying the subjects that brought her into this field.

“I love the beauty of math, its unique physical properties, real life applications for everything and anything and how it will be the catalyst for creating things that we once thought were impossible and improbable. Mathematics allows us to have the ability to say that nothing is impossible.”
